BK PRECISION 1688B 18V 20A Single Output DC Power Supply

The B&K Precision 1688B is a laboratory grade switching DC power supply with high current output in a small, lightweight form factor. The 1688B provides high output voltage or high output current and feature rotary encoder control knobs, which make setting voltage and current fast and precise. Its dual action push button allows the user to set both coarse and fine, voltage and current levels. In addition to constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) modes, the high efficiency DC power supply offers preset and remote control modes. Save up to three different presets of voltage and current values for quick recall. For remote control, an analog remote control terminal is accessible on the rear, or use the USB interface to communicate with the power supply via PC software or remote commands. Specifications. Crest Factor
Crest factor or peak-to-average ratio (PAR) is a measurement of a waveform, calculated from the peak amplitude of the waveform divided by the RMS value of the waveform

Linearity
Linearity is the relative difference between the displayed power ratio, Dx/D0, and the actual (true) power ratio Px/P0 caused by changing the displayed power level from the reference level, D0, to an arbitrary displayed level, Dx.

Phase Noise
Phase noise is the frequency domain representation of rapid, short-term, random fluctuations in the phase of a waveform, caused by time domain instabilities. Phase noise (L(f)) is typically expressed in units of dBc/Hz, representing the noise power relative to the carrier contained in a 1 Hz bandwidth centered at a certain offsets from the carrier.

Sensitivity
Sensitivity is the minimum magnitude of input signal required to produce a specified output signal having a specified signal-to-noise ratio, or other specified criteria.
